The pandemic has raised awareness of mental health symptoms and service needs. Encourage your clients to review the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provided by Kansas City Life's Group Benefits to address the immediate needs of impacted individuals.
EAP services are available 24 hours a day/365 days per year.
EAP services include:
· Up to 5 face-to-face visits per member per issue per year
· Up to 30-minute phone or in-person consultation for basic legal questions
· A telephone consultation with a qualified financial consultant
Family caregiving services
· Confirmed referrals and information on a variety of family matters
· Complimentary referrals to help make the most of money and free time
Online tools and information
· Life management tools for personal and/or work issues
The EAP is included with all Kansas City Life Long Term Disability plans and may be added to any other coverage for a reasonable cost of $0.50 per employee per month.
