As we close out this AEP, we wanted to send out the reminders below.

Carriers requiring that all AEP applications for a 1/1/2018 effective date be submitted by 11:59pm on 12/07/2017:

• Cigna-HealthSpring
• Geisinger
• United HealthCare-AARP
• UPMC for Life
• WellCare

Carriers that will allow their normal CMS submission deadline:

Please note that these submission deadlines are for submitting to the carrier. You are not permitted to accept any AEP applications after 12/7/2017.

• Aetna (48 hours after receipt of application)
• Capital Blue Cross (48 hours after receipt of application)
• Coventry (48 hours after receipt of application)
• Envision Rx (48 hours after receipt of application)
• Highmark (48 hours after receipt of application)
• Gateway (48 hours after receipt of application)
• SilverScript (24 hours after receipt of application)
• Vibra Health Plan (48 hours after receipt of application)

Medicare Connections Newsletter

After tomorrow the newsletter will be changed from bi-weekly to a monthly newsletter. If there are any major notices from our carrier partners, we will send them out as individual announcements.
