Manage clients’ information through digital self-service
Nationwide® will soon be making it simpler for you to manage your clients’ documents through digital self-service. This change will not only reduce unwanted clutter and paper waste, but it will also make it easier to access and maintain your client information.
Here’s what to expect:
- Our first wave will impact Life policies beginning with 8, N55 & B55, with L policies following at a later date
-
- Copies of client statements, confirmations and systematic letters will no longer be sent by mail to their financial professional
- When you log in to nationwidefinancial.com, you will have secure 24/7 access to these materials through the Document Center
You may still receive some of these documents via mail, depending on legal requirements, but all of them will also be available online.
Please note, this change does not impact your clients and how they receive their important policy documents from Nationwide.
No action is required. This change will take place automatically, and you cannot opt out. You will be notified once this change has occurred.

This material is not a recommendation to buy or sell a financial product or to adopt an investment strategy. Investors should discuss their specific situation with their financial professional.
Keep in mind that, as an acceleration of the death benefit, exercising the Chronic Illness Rider or the Critical Illness Rider payout will reduce both the death benefit and cash surrender value by an amount greater than one dollar for every dollar paid. Make sure life insurance needs will still be met, even if the rider pays out in full. Though riders that customize a policy to fit individual needs usually carry an additional charge, neither the Chronic Illness Rider, the Critical Illness Rider nor the Terminal Illness Rider has an initial cost or upfront monthly charge when any is included in the policy; however, a cost is incurred if and when the rider is exercised. A life insurance purchase should be based on the life policy and not solely on riders or features.
