We are writing to inform you of several changes to the Medicare AEP processes this year.

Changes are outlined below:
- Accessing Geisinger Health Plan Medicare Product Training:
- We are changing how your appointed Medicare selling agents will access the annual required Geisinger Health Plan Medicare product training. In previous years, we emailed the training link from our Litmos system. This year, we require all appointed Medicare brokers to create their login through our Broker Portal to access the annual training moving forward. All appointed Medicare brokers must create their Broker Portal accounts by June 30, 2025, to be ready for the 2026 Medicare AEP training release. New brokers will still receive emailed training links; this change applies to already appointed brokers for annual training renewal.
- Submitting Appointment Applications:
- Effective July 1, 2025, all appointed top-level agencies for all lines of business will be required to submit appointment applications through the Broker Portal. Applications will no longer be accepted through brokers@thehealthplan.com after this date. The only exceptions are transfers and acquisitions, which must still be emailed to brokers@thehealthplan.com or submitted through cases in the Broker Portal for easy tracking. We are attaching a step-by-step guide for your convenience.
