Creating Your Multi-Factor Authentication Profile On The Producer Portal Beginning May 6
|
In an effort to enhance online security, Highmark will implement Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for the Medicare/ACA Producer Portal beginning May 6.
This critical update to the Producer Portal will impact ALL USERS when logging in for both Medicare and ACA lines of business, and will be required each time you login.
This process will employ unique IDs/passwords that cannot be shared with or used by other users, making the portal even more secure.
FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS BELOW TO CREATE YOUR INITIAL MFA PROFILE FOR THE PRODUCER PORTAL BEGINNING MAY 6:

- After clicking the Enter Login Credentials button you will be taken to the new MFA login screen.
- You will use your NORMAL PRODUCER PORTAL username and password on this screen. Once confirmed, you will be sent to the MFA sign up screen.

|
|
- You MUST sign up for MFA to maintain access to the Producer Portal. You can sign up via EMAIL or TEXT.
|
|
|
|
|
- After selecting your MFA method, you must enter a valid phone number or email address. NOTE: You do NOT need to use the same email/phone that is linked to your existing Producer Portal account. Also, for phone sign up you MUST use a mobile device.
|
|
|
|
|
- You will then be required to validate your selected method of sign up.
|
|
|
|
|
- If your sign up is successful, you will see this screen:
|
|
|
|
|
- NOTE: If you are inactive for more than 5 minutes during the sign up process, your session will be timed out and you will need to restart the process.
- This is purely timeout for your MFA access, and is not timeout for your experience during a member's enrollment application.
|
|
|
|
|
- After successfully completing sign up, you will be taken back to the MFA login screen to repeat the login action once more.
- When you click the "Enter Login Credentials" button you will be taken to the new MFA login.
- You will use your NORMAL PRODUCER PORTAL username and password on this screen. Once confirmed, you will be sent to the MFA verification screen.

|
- You will then receive a 6 digit code via the method that was chosen during initial setup.
|
|
|
|
|
- Once your code is accepted, you will automatically be redirected to the normal post login Line of Business page in the Producer Portal.
|
|
|
|
|
UPDATED D-SNP Agent Support Hours
|
Our D-SNP Agent Support hours are now Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Effective immediately our Highmark Wholecare D-SNP Agent Support hours have been updated to Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This update is reflected in the chart below.
Weekend D-SNP Agent Support hours will return during AEP.
