Highmark | Update: 2024 MSP/MLR - Action Required
We wanted to make you aware that on or about April 12, 2024, Highmark sent a letter to all group clients (small, mid-large, regional, and national markets) that had active Highmark medical and/or drug coverage in 2023 in western, central, and/or northeastern Pennsylvania.The letter will direct all clients to complete a mandatory on-line Medicare Secondary Payer and Medical Loss Ratio (MSP/MLR) survey. This survey must be completed by June 20, 2024. Read more.

Pennie and the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue created a way for anyone without health coverage to be connected with Pennie when they file their taxes. Tax filers do so by filling out tax form ‘REV-1882 ‘Health Insurance Coverage Information Request’ when they complete their Pennsylvania state income tax return. Read more.
