On March 6, 2020, Governor Wolf issued a disaster declaration in response to the presence of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Pennsylvania. The declaration provided wide ranging efforts to slow the rate of spread of the virus and included, amongst other things, 14-day closures of non-essential businesses, recommendations to avoid unnecessary travel and social distancing.
