Capital transitioned to the new payment processor, One, Inc., last month

Groups and members who previously paid their premium(s) by electronic payments through their secure account, by eCheck, or via Member Services, should update their payment information in their Capital Blue Cross secure account if they have not done so already.

Earlier this month, delinquency notices sent to individual, Medicare, and applicable groups whose August invoice(s) was not paid included an insert letting them know that action was required to update payment preferences in the new payment center. Groups were advised to go to CapBlue.com/employer-payment and members were directed to CapBlue.com/payment to set up payment preferences and to pay their invoice(s).*

If an August payment was past due and not yet paid, the group or member will need to make a one-time payment to pay this invoice. While in the new payment center, the group or member can choose to set up autopay for future payments.

*Service fees for debit/credit card or digital wallet payments in the amount of $3 per transaction may be applicable under certain circumstances. Limitations may apply. (Medicare, CHIP, and ICHRA members are not subject to this transaction fee.)
