Medicare Advantage rollout seminars

Capital Blue Cross 2025 Medicare Advantage annual certification
We are pleased to announce that our annual certification will go live on July 19. It is also your first look at our Medicare Advantage plans for 2025.
Since this is an important step to sell our 2025 plans, we encourage you to complete the certification at your earliest convenience. Here are some helpful information to get you started:
Use your National Producer Number (NPN) as your username.
Please take a moment to review and update your profile information.
If you are a returning user and forgot your password, click on “forgot password” from the login screen.
Upon logging in, you will see the 2025 Capital certification on your dashboard.
You must receive at least an 85% score in order to pass the exam. Your dashboard will automatically be updated to reflect a passing score and you will receive email confirmation as well. Passing scores are automatically shared with Capital.
As a reminder, Capital also requires producers to complete and pass current year AHIP to meet the requirements for annual certification.
Billing enhancements for Large ASO groups billed weekly for claims
We have made updates to ASO billing for Large ASO groups that are billed weekly for claims. Only one invoice currently includes admin charges for the upcoming month, but beginning with July 10 bills, that monthly admin fee will be included in the weekly invoices. If the group pays the charge, it will show $0 currently due. If they do not pay it with their weekly invoice, the subsequent weekly bills will show the admin amount as “Past Due” until it is paid. If a group has not yet paid their July admin charges, they will see a past due amount.
Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs pharmacy outreach
Capital Blue Cross was the first health plan in the country to collaborate with Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs (Cost Plus Drugs), offering our members and communities greater access to low-cost prescription drugs and transparent pricing.
Cost Plus Drugs is an in-network mail delivery pharmacy for most Capital Blue Cross members with pharmacy coverage, including Medicare and Commercial members.
Capital’s pharmacy team is calling Medicare, Fully Insured, and ASO members who can save at least $75 on their prescription drug medications through Cost Plus Drugs. The outreach offers members assistance and provides instructions on how to create an account and navigate the Cost Plus Drugs website.
Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, PBC is contracted through Prime Therapeutics LLC to provide mail pharmacy services to members of Capital Blue Cross. On behalf of Capital Blue Cross, Prime Therapeutics LLC assists in the administration of our prescription drug program. Prime Therapeutics LLC is an independent pharmacy benefit manager. Capital Blue Cross is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association serving 21 counties in Central Pennsylvania and the Lehigh Valley.
Dental EPO Copay Essential Plan is an in-network only plan and provides access to dental care through our large network of PPO providers that accept member copayments as payment in full. There is no cost share for exams and cleanings, and copayments for additional services are fixed. If a member visits an out-of-network dentist, the member is responsible for the entire cost of the services received.

Costco is now an in-network provider for custom large vision groups through our new network, Capital Blue Cross Vision Advanced.
Producers can request that Costco be included in a vision quote for Custom large groups with 100+ enrolled employees. Contact your Capital Blue Cross account executive for details.
