In anticipation of future growth, Geisinger Health Plan Commercial Group Division is transforming its organizational structure. The new structure will better align the sales and client services teams, while preparing for future growth. Key changes include:

2. Additional roles – We’re introducing two new roles:

• Manager of large group business development
• Manager of large group client services

3. Reporting structure – These new roles will report to Stacy Kreller, along with these existing managers:

• Nick Gambo, manager of small group business development
• John Columbo, manager of small group client services
• Matt Dennis, commercial broker manager
• Chris Peterson, senior labor liaison

Stacy Kreller has been with Geisinger Health Plan for 18 years, and brings progressive and extensive experience in sales and products. She holds a B.A. from King’s College and is a recent graduate of Geisinger’s E. Allen Deaver Leadership Program.

Roger van Baaren, chief sales officer, emphasized that this restructuring positions Geisinger to adapt to the ever-changing marketplace while better serving brokers, members, clients and the community. The reorganization is a crucial step in the health plan’s evolution, especially following the recent announcement of joining Risant and the promise of value-based care.

This process should be fairly seamless — brokers will continue working with account executives and contacts as the new roles are filled and should see very little disruption to daily work.
