Some follow up information to the email sent earlier about the changes with the fitness reimbursement.

- Members are receiving errata letters this week.
- EOCs (Evidence of Coverage) and SBs (Summary of Benefits) (English versions) are now updated on AetnaMedicare.com. Translated versions will be available by May 10. These documents do have a section that explains what is included for reimbursement and what is not under the fitness allowance.
- The fitness DMR form (English version) is now updated on AetnaMedicare.com: Fitness_Reimburse_Form_Aetna_EN.pdf and also attached. Please ensure you are using the version that has GC-1664-5 (4/24) on it. The Spanish version will be available on Wed/Thurs of this week.
- Brokers are required to replace the Summary of benefit (SB) pages in the paper enrollment kits. You will need to:
- Remove the existing SB pages.
- Download and print the updated SBs from AetnaMedicare.com and insert them into their enrollment kits.
- All affected SBs (English versions) on AetnaMedicare.com are updated.
- Translated versions will be available in mid-May.
- New enrollment kits (English versions) ordered on and after today, Wednesday, April 24 will automatically contain the corrected SB. Updated translated enrollment kits will be available in mid-May.
- RE: electronic enrollment tools:
- Think Agent connects to the updated plan documents.
- Other partner enrollment tools are being updated as quickly as possible, but this may take some time.

Keeping you informed: Changes to the fitness benefit
Due to a recent clarification by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), we’re changing the items available for the fitness reimbursement benefit, which is available with some Aetna Medicare plans. Read more.
Key things to know
- Effective immediately, the fitness benefit can no longer be used for
the following items:
- Athletic shoes (all types)
- Camping tents
- Fishing rods
- Hiking poles
- National and state park fees
- An updated fitness direct member reimbursement form, as well as updated Evidence of Coverage and Summary of Benefits documents, will be available on AetnaMedicare.com soon.

Members will receive an errata letter explaining this change starting on April 23.
While the benefit amount has not changed, we understand that some members may have to purchase different items than they originally intended. If members have questions, encourage them to call us at the number on their member ID card.
