Until now, we have defined small group as up to 100 eligible employees. But we have concluded that clients with 100 or fewer enrolled employees have similar needs regardless of how many eligible employees they have.
Aetna Small Group product, operation, and sales organization will help us to better meet the needs of these businesses and the brokers who serve them by:
- Handling high volume with quicker turnaround times
- Reducing disruptive re-segmentation when a group grows or shrinks.
- Making underwriting, sales, service and account personnel consistent for similarly sized clients.
- Offering competitive new business credits starting at $400 per enrolled employee*
These groups will automatically get a dual Aetna Funding Advantage and Aetna Fully Insured quote when you submit a quote request.

**Not available in CO, MA, NJ, or OK. A group can only be eligible for an administrative fee credit at their effective date based on the number of enrolled employees at the time the case is sold. This material is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a contract. The offer is provided at the sole discretion of Aetna and can be terminated at any time and without notice. This administrative fee credit offer is conditioned on your group continuing to stay on AFA for at least 12 months after receiving the administrative fee credit. Should your group terminate the product before 12 months, your group agrees to pay Aetna an amount equal to the total amount of the administrative fee credit received, within 31 days of the termination.
