Capital Blue Cross adds Geisinger to its Medicare Advantage network
Capital Blue Cross continues to expand healthcare choices and provider access for Medicare Advantage members, adding Geisinger hospitals and clinics to its Medicare Advantage network as of January 1, 2024.
Capital will be the first and only non-Geisinger insurance carrier to offer full, in-network Medicare access to Geisinger doctors, hospitals, and facilities. This means Capital’s Medicare Advantage members can see providers at Geisinger’s 130 primary care and specialty clinic sites and 10 hospital campuses — including its largest facility, the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Capital’s Medicare Advantage PPO members also will continue to benefit from access to a robust national network of top doctors, hospitals, and specialists.
Capital’s Medicare Advantage plan options also feature:
Monthly premiums as low as $0.
$0 medical and drug deductibles.
National PPO provider network of trusted healthcare providers.
$0 copay for preferred generic drugs and diabetes supplies.
Annual allowances for dental, vision, hearing, and a quarterly allowance for over-the-counter supplies.
