The state of Maryland adopted a new Birthday Rule guideline on July 1, 2023, allowing Medicare recipients to shop their Medicare supplement policy coverage each year on a Guaranteed Issue basis. 

Effective Aug. 1, 2023, any signed application will receive payment on a new commission schedule.  

Please see your new commission schedule attached for Birthday Rule and all other classes of policy statues UW, OE, GI and Birthday Rule.
