Employer group renewal letters now available on GHP employer portal
|
|
Ready for an enhancement that makes accessing employer group renewal information even more seamless for your clients? Employer group renewal letters are now available directly on the GHP employer portal. This means employers can securely view their renewal documents online — no more waiting for USPS mail.
Here’s how it works:
-
Renewal letters will continue to be posted to the broker portal first.
-
Employers can access renewal letters in the employer portal 3 business days later.
This update improves transparency, shortens turnaround times and empowers employers with direct access to the information they need — when they need it. Thanks for your continued partnership as we improve the tools and resources available to you and your clients.

Reminder: Maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP)
|
|
Upon renewal, GHP will automatically index the maximum out-of-pocket to the IRS maximum.
For plan years beginning in 2026, the IRS maximum MOOP is:
-
$10,600 for individual coverage
-
$21,200 for family coverage
This doesn’t apply to:
-
KYP
-
Small group ACA
-
Non-GFA self-funded plans
-
Groups with union contracts
|
Gag clause reporting prohibition compliance attestation reminder
|
|
Annual submissions are due Dec. 31. We’re committed to helping our customers fulfill these requirements. For fully-insured employer group and self-funded employer group coverage, Geisinger Health Plan will submit all required web forms, including the Excel template, as applicable, to the departments on behalf of the employer for the initial and all subsequent reporting periods.
