Remember SEP options for customers
During lock-in, remember that your clients may qualify for special election periods (SEPs). Some brokers have had clients who wanted to come to Geisinger but didn’t think they had a qualifying SEP — when in fact they did. Consider PACE/PACENET.
Mail-order pharmacy is available to Gold members, usually for maintenance drugs taken on a regular basis for chronic or long-term medical conditions. Geisinger Mail-Order Pharmacy delivers:
Savings: A 100-day mail-order prescription costs less than it does at a retail pharmacy.
Convenience: Eligible medications are delivered to members at no extra cost, saving trips to the pharmacy.
Security: Medications are handled with care and shipped from Elysburg, Pa.
