Humana announced some changes to the 2026 Individual Products PPP which can be accessed HERE. The plans impacted by this change can be found on pages 34-35.

Note: the changes to the PPP DO NOT have any impact to AOR, renewals, or admin fees.

Amid ongoing pressures and challenges within the industry, Humana will be implementing changes to the Medicare Commission Schedule as part of the 2026 Producer Partnership Plan (PPP) for Individual Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Dental and Vision Products for policies with effective dates on or after April 1, 2026. These actions are intended to help minimize the impact on valued partners such as yourself, while ensuring we continue to provide quality service to our members. We have summarized these changes below:

The decommissioning of 72 MA/MAPD plans (as outlined in the 2026 PPP). Renewal commissions for these plans will not be impacted.
Initial Sale (New to Medicare) MA/MAPD commissions will be pro-rated based on the number of months the member is enrolled in the plan.

What this means for you:

Humana will pay Prorated Initial Commission for policies with an effective date on or after April 1, 2026 if the enrollee signature date is on or after March 3, 2026.
Please refer to First Look and Market product guides for a complete and updated listing of the plans in your market.
The decommissioned plans will no longer be available for enrollment on the Humana Enrollment Platform. Plans will still be available on Humana.com for consumers.
