When you visit a provider, Capital Blue Cross mails you an explanation of benefits (also known as an EOB). An EOB shows you what your provider charged, what your health plan covered, and what balance is left. Please be aware, however, that an EOB is not a bill. A bill will come from your healthcare provider under separate cover. Always ensure the bill from your provider has accounted for what your health plan has covered. If you do not see on your bill what Capital Blue Cross has covered, call your provider for clarification. You can sign up to
get emailed notifications when a new EOB is ready for you to review.
