Preventive care is one of the most effective ways to protect long-term health, and staying current with recommended screenings plays a vital role. The 2026 preventive care schedules for PPO and HMO plans are now available. These schedules are reviewed and updated regularly based on recommendations from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, Health Resources and Services Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as well as other applicable laws and regulations.

The annual open enrollment period is underway on Pennie.
If you are a current Pennie-certified broker, you will need to complete your training by November 30. If you do not complete it by the deadline, you will be decertified effective December 31, and your customers will be de-designated.
We’re making several adjustments to our BlueReliance Medicare Supplement plans for 2026. A number of plans will see premium increases next year, and some plans will move to a gender-rated structure for new enrollees. These updates reflect rising healthcare costs, shifts in utilization, and the need to keep our plans sustainable.
Plans D, G and N: Annual rate change and a new gender-rated pricing structure.
All plans: Continue to receive the age-based adjustment.
New enrollment kits with the updated OOC will be available soon on the producer portal.
Member communications
Members receiving a premium increase will get a notification letter with their new rate. These letters will be mailed individually at least 30 days before the change. Members who are only receiving the standard age-based adjustment will not receive a letter. Updates take effect January 1, 2026.
Other updates
Autopay: Our electronic funds transfer option, formerly called Check It Out®, has been renamed Autopay. No action is needed for members already enrolled.
Paperless invoicing: Members can now choose to receive invoices by email through their secure member portal.
Notice of Change (NOC): The annual Medicare Supplement NOC mailing may be delayed this year due to pending Medicare cost-share updates and possible federal timing issues.
