No need to wait!
If your client has enrolled in a Humana Medicare plan where Humana Pharmacy offers preferred cost-sharing, you can educate them about their preferred cost-sharing pharmacy benefit.
 
With our new pre-effective capabilities, a member can call Humana Pharmacy prior to their benefit becoming active. If your client is interested in learning more about Humana Pharmacy, they can call Humana Pharmacy. Humana Pharmacy can provide them with information about their medications, as well as information about pricing.
 
You can also offer them the option of completing the Member Authorization Form (MAF). Agents can access the Member Authorization Form here

Fax*: 1-800-379-7617 or ePrescribe tool
Mail*: Mail a 90-day prescription and an order form to:

*If members are starting a new policy, they must wait until their policy becomes active to fill the prescription.

Patient Assistance Programs
Many drug manufacturers and charitable foundations offer  prescription drug assistance programs that offer financial assistance to individuals who meet specified eligibility criteria. Specialty pharmacies, like Humana Specialty Pharmacy, offer financial assistance specialists who, upon request, can work with patients to help find and apply for financial assistance that, if eligible, may help cover the cost of specialty medications.

Members with health and wellness OTC plan benefits can learn more about how to use their OTC allowance at Humana Pharmacy.
