I’m sure the calls have starting to come in relative to the HHS ruling that PA CHIP Buy-In policies do not meet minimum essential coverage (MEC) standards set by the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act. This means that 3,600 Pennsylvania children will be without insurance because of this Federal action. More information will follow. However, you can assist them in getting coverage by adding them to their parents’ plans or by writing a child-only policy.
