This year had many challenges and many rewards. As we approach the Holiday Season, I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU for your partnership, loyalty, and perseverance! It certainly hasn’t been an easy enrollment season thus far and we’re only a third of the way through it – but I know my agent-partners to be resilient and committed to our respective clients and for this, I feel truly blessed. Ebix / Health Connect Quoting Portal We have been made aware of a few inconsistencies with the Health Connect/Ebix quoting portal. As noted, quoting portal is for illustrative purposes only and it’s very important to verify the plan information. The plans have been tested by the respective carriers and any corrections are being made directly by Ebix, but again, it’s important to make sure that the plans chosen are not just available On and/or Off marketplace.

ACA reporting requirements are around the corner: Are you ready? On March 5, the Internal Revenue Service issued final regulations on employer reporting requirements under the Affordable Care Act that will take effect in 2015. Employers with fewer than 50 full-time employees and full-time equivalents are exempt from the ACA employer shared responsibility rules and the related employer reporting requirements.
