Cut-off dates for ON Exchange applications and OFF Exchange applications. All applications sent to URL for a 1-1-15 effective date must be received no later than 2pm on Monday, December 15th in order to allow time to process.  If the applications are received after 2pm, we may not be able to secure a 1-1-2015 effective date. UPMC Individual 1/1 Cutoff Date Reminder

A quick reminder regarding the cutoff date for an effective date of 1/1/15. If you are enrolling someone that IS subsidy eligible through healthcare.gov, they MUST be enrolled by December 15th for a 1/1 effective date. If someone is NOT eligible for a subsidy and you are enrolling them through our portal, you have until December 31st to enroll them for a 1/1 effective date. Click here to read more.

ibx4you retail platform now supports subsidy-eligible shopping experience

We are pleased to announce that ibx4you has been enhanced to accommodate a subsidy-eligible shopping experience. Previously, subsidy-eligible customers could only be enrolled through the Health Insurance Marketplace, while customers who were not subsidy-eligible could be enrolled through either the Marketplace or our retail platform. A new survey reveals that 48 percent of Americans are unaware they are required to report their health insurance status on their upcoming 2014 tax returns. With the start of the tax-filing season just weeks away, the Intuit TurboTax Health Survey, conducted online by Harris Poll among over 2,000 adults aged 18 and older, shows Americans are still largely unaware of the connection between their health care and taxes.
