The Fall Edition of BenefitFOCUS is being emailed to Capital’s group leaders this week. An electronic copy is attached for producers to reference & share with their customers. This edition will also be made available on the Employers/ Resources and the Producer Tools/Publications pages of CapBlueCross.com. Group leaders for whom we do not have an email address on file, will receive a mailed letter directing them to the digital version available on the employers resources section of capbluecross.com. The letter also asks recipients to provide their account executives with an email address for a point of contact at the group to whom future editions of the publication should be emailed. Highmark Update: Highmark Ad to Run in Local Western Pennsylvania Newspapers

As communicated earlier today, the Commonwealth Court ruled that offering Highmark's new Community Blue Medicare HMO plan does not violate the Consent Decree. To spread the news that Highmark will continue to offer Community Blue Medicare HMO, a full-page ad will run tomorrow (Oct. 31), Sunday (Nov. 2) and Wednesday (Nov. 5), in western Pennsylvania newspapers.
