Join us for Capital's second annual producer symposium
We recently emailed you an invitation to join us for one of three sessions at this year's second annual producer symposium.
Meet many of our program vendors who support our pharmacy, diabetes, and women’s health programs.
Learn more about how Capital Blue Cross Connect can serve your clients’ health plan needs — and take a tour.
Pick up a continuing education credit toward your producer’s license renewal.
Capital thanks the producers who attended the whole-health webinar held in late March. If you missed the webinar or want a refresh of Capital's comprehensive approach to healthcare that can significantly impact your clients' bottom line and improve their employees' well-being, take a moment to review the presentation deck or watch a recording. You can also review and share with your clients the benefits of value-added services and Strive Health.
On behalf of Capital Blue Cross, Strive Health LLC, an independent company, works with members to help improve their kidney health.
Having and using dental coverage benefits overall health
Brushing, flossing, and getting routine dental checkups can do more than brighten your smile. A growing body of research shows that these simple habits can improve overall health and reduce the chances of life-threatening medical conditions like heart disease and cancer.
To encourage the use of dental benefits, Capital engages in ongoing communication and education about its dental plans, and encourages dental care by offering convenient alternatives like DigiBite, a teledentistry app that provides a variety of dental services with licensed dentists without the office visit.
This article is posted on our website THINK (Trusted Health Information, News, and Knowledge). THINK empowers business leaders, consultants, and consumers to start and sustain conversations about health and wellness at work, at home, and throughout our communities.
DigiBite may not be available in all 50 states or available on all plans. DigiBite is an independent company whose products and services are not Capital Blue Cross products and services.
Capital Blue Cross Dental premium holiday
When your clients choose Capital Blue Cross Dental, they get more than dental benefits — they get extensive, cost-effective networks, convenient plan administration, and exceptional service from a name trusted for over 80 years. Most importantly, Capital's expansive dental networks give members choice and access to quality dental care.
Local or across the country, our dental networks are competitive:
Capital is one of the largest regional Select* dental networks, with over 5,000 dental access points.
97% of Capital Blue Cross Dental members have access to two general dentist providers within 10 miles.
And right now, Capital has a special offer for new groups who sign up for medical and dental coverage, or for existing medical groups that add Capital Blue Cross Dental. Those groups will receive a holiday of one month’s dental premium or ASO administrative fees when enrolling in dental coverage, and another when they renew that coverage. That means two months of no dental premiums or ASO administrative fees for the group, as a thank you from us. Reach out to your account executive with questions.
*Dental Select plans require the selection of a primary care dentist (PCD) from the BlueCross Dental Select network. The PCD provides routine care and arranges or provides most other medically necessary services. Except for emergency services, benefits are covered only when provided or properly referred by the PCD, preauthorized by Capital BlueCross, or as stated within the dental policy.
