Members will be able to purchase their OTC Products in ALL CVS locations!

OTC Health Solutions (OTCHS) has announced that by July 2023 all free-standing CVS pharmacy locations will be fully enabled to process OTCHS transactions for our allowance-based OTC benefit. Currently, we have 3600+ participating CVS retail stores across 39 states enabled to process OTCHS transactions today; however, that number will increase to over 7600+ stores across the country. I have attached two helpful flyers.

• The OTCHS ordering website will be updated to have a website banner that reads: “As of 7/1, you can use your OTC Benefit at over 7000 CVS pharmacy locations  Use the store locator to find the store nearest you.”’

 

• CVS pharmacy inside Target and CVS locations without a pharmacy are excluded

 

• This expansion  DOES NOT include DSNP Members as they utilize Nations not OTCHS

 

• A  communication will not be send to members. Take this opportunity to reach out to your members and share this news in retention efforts. 

 

• Take it a step further and tell them to share this exciting change with their friends and pass along your number for referrals!
