Looking for an SEP for a client – don’t forget Pace/Pace Net creates an SEP for your clients if they qualify. For many people, they don’t know that they qualify.

• Must be a resident of PA for 6 months or longer
• Must be at least 65 years old
• Meet simple income requirements

Income requirements based on previous year gross income. This includes taxable and non-taxable sources. Assets are not counted as income. Does not include the Part B premium as income.
PACE

• $14,500 or less for a single person
• $17,700 or less for a married couple

PACENET

• $14,501 to $33,500 for a single person
• $17,701 to $41,500 for a married couple

 

The website to apply is https://pacecares.magellanhealth.com/  It takes 15 minutes. You can enroll someone into Pace and our plan on the same day. Just be sure to select the correct SEP on the application.

This is another great tool to determine if someone is PACE/PACENet or LIS eligible which also would open up at SEP.  I have attached a flyer on BenefitsCheckUp.
