NEW member retention playbook with tips on retaining your clients 

 

The 2023 Aetna Medicare member retention playbook gives you useful, hands-on actions you can use now and reference later. Learn how you can build a successful retention strategy, retain your D-SNP members, avoid rapid disenrollment and more.


Refresh your knowledge on Open Enrollment Period (OEP) 

 

The Medicare Advantage OEP, (January 1 to March 31), allows beneficiaries who are enrolled in an MA/MAPD plan a one-time opportunity to change plans. If the member has a dueling election period during this time, they should use the OEP election period first. 

Remember, you're not allowed to proactively market this election period. Learn how you can assist your clients during OEP and review important do's and don'ts.

Sales 

Dental coverage information is now easy to access on plan-specific landing pages

 

You and your clients can now easily find dental coverage information for 2023 plans by visiting plan-specific landing pages. Members can access these pages by scanning the QR code on their member ID card; and you can access them by going to AetnaMedicare.com/<contract PBP> (e.g., AetnaMedicare.com/H1608-016). In the Plan Quick Links section, select “Understand your dental coverage” and you’ll find details including a link to find dental providers, out-of-pocket costs and more.


 
 

Learn about the Special Election Period (SEP) for dual-eligible and low income subsidy (LIS) eligible clients

 

Dual-eligible and other LIS eligible individuals can enroll in, or disenroll from, an MA plan once per calendar quarter through an SEP. Here's what you need to know about this SEP.
