Commission Increases for 51-99 and 100+ Market Segments
UPMC Health Plan is committed to supporting our broker community, and we are excited to announce the following changes to our commissions schedule for the western Pennsylvania market.*
51+ Market Segment:
- For new groups with a 4/1/23 or later effective date, commissions will increase to $30 per contract. Groups already in force will stay at the current commission level.
100+ Market Segment:
- For new groups with a 4/1/23 or later effective date, commissions will increase to $32 per contract. Please contact your sales account executive if you have negotiated a different commission level with a group in this market segment.
- For renewal groups with a 5/1 or later effective date, the new commission of $32 per contract will apply. Please contact your account executive if you have negotiated a different commission level with a group in this market segment.
- Please note that your account manager will contact you before the renewal is finalized to discuss the commission amount.
UPMC Health Plan will soon send an amendment to your producer agreement that reflects these changes. The notice will arrive via certified mail. (Please note these changes pertain exclusively to the western Pennsylvania market as defined within the commission schedule.)

*Applicable only to General Agency, Direct Agency, and Stand-Alone Producer Agreements. All commissions are subject to the terms and conditions set forth in your producer or agency agreement, including any amendments thereto.
