2023 Medicaid Redetermination Resources

Members that currently receive Medicaid assistance from their state Medicaid program will be subject to the upcoming Medicaid Renewal / Redetermination process when it resumes in April 2023.

Alabama is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members may have begun receiving letters from the state as early as April 1.

Connecticut is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members may have begun receiving letters from the state as early as April 1.

New Jersey is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as April 15th.

Oklahoma is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members may have begun receiving letters from the state as early as February 15th.

Washington and Wisconsin are scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as April 10th (depending on the state).

California is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in July 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as April 1st.

Georgia is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as April 15th.

Michigan is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in July 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as May 4th.

Louisiana and New York are scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in July 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as May 1st (depending on the state).

Hawaii is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as April 1st.

Maine is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as March 21st.

Missouri is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in July 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as May 1st.

Vermont is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Apr 15th.

Arkansas Home - Ambetter is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Feb 1st.

Arkansas Total Care is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Feb 15th.

Indiana and Kansas are scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Mar 15th (depending on the state).

Kentucky, Nevada and South Carolina are scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Apr 1st (depending on the state).

Mississippi is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in June 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Mar 1st.

North Carolina is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in July 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Apr 1st.

New Mexico is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Mar 1st.

Ohio is scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Feb. 1st.

Rhode Island, Tennessee , Arizona and Texas are scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in April 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Feb 1st (depending on the state).

Illinois and Oregon are scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in Jul 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Apr 1st (depending on the state).

Florida, Nebraska, New Hampshire, , and Pennsylvania are scheduled to initiate the Medicaid Redetermination process in May 2023. Members will begin receiving letters from the state as early as Feb 1st (depending on the state).
