Avoiding Processing Delays on the Med Supp e-App

  1. Attach proof of Guarantee Issue inside the e-Application, by using the “Attach eligibility documents” button. Do not include any special characters in the file names, as this can cause potential issues. Acceptable criteria for the file names:
  • Upper/Lower case letters
  • Numbers
  • Spaces
  • Underscores
  • Dashes

Any other special characters, such as parenthesis or commas will prevent the document from being loaded.

  1. Only use the “Add a note to the Underwriter” section on underwritten cases when an additional explanation needs to be provided to the underwriter. This is not necessary for Open Enrollment/Guarantee Issue applications.

Follow the guidelines above, when using the Med supp e-Application and you can avoid processing delays on applications.
