NEW plans for Western PA
- PPO Premier Rx―This plan features a $0 monthly premium with access to out-of-network care. Plus, members get low copays for the services they use most. This plan is great for those who are generally healthy and looking for low-cost coverage.
- PPO Choice Rx―This plan features a $23 monthly premium with in- and out-of-network coverage for medical services. Members can choose the doctors and hospitals they want with low cost sharing for out-of-network care.
Both new PPO plans for western PA also include a
$300 allowance per year for the new
UPMC for Life Flex Spend Card. If you ever encountered prospects that didn’t join our plans because they were unsure about the provider network or were looking for a low premium PPO plan, now is the time!

- PPO Premier Rx―This plan is the front runner! With a $0 monthly premium and $50 monthly Medicare Part B premium reduction, it’s putting money back in the beneficiary’s pockets.
- PPO Choice Rx―This plan is completely revamped, it’s practically a new plan! This plan has a lowered monthly premium of $23 with in- and out-of-network coverage for medical services. Members can choose the doctors and hospitals they want with low-cost sharing for out-of-network care.
Both PPO plans for central PA also include a
$500 allowance per year for the new
UPMC for Life Flex Spend Card. In a region that’s known for its competitive PPO plan options, UPMC
for Life can go toe-to-toe with the other carriers this year. Plus, these plans are offered across central PA, from north to south, creating a cohesive portfolio of products and can help make selling in this region easier.

And that’s where the NEW PPO Salute plan comes in! This plan was designed for retired military veterans who have TRICARE For Life (TFL). It works with TRICARE For Life to give members many additional benefits at no extra cost. This plan
does not include Part D prescription drug coverage.
