Now available:

  • Preview Policy packet feature during offer process
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG) ordering requirements change

What is the Preview Policy packet feature?

The Preview Policy packet feature allows an advisor to view the policy during the offer process. This feature will be available for the advisor when proposed insured is the owner. If the proposed insured is not the owner, the feature will be available to the advisor once the owner has signed. This feature applies to the Horizon Experience only (Banner).

Why is it important?  This feature lets the advisor and/or their back office to preview the policy details before and/or along with their clients, allowing certain firms to maintain required process standards.

What ordering requirements are changing?

Electrocardiograms (EKGs) will only be required for applicants ages 51-60 for policy amounts above $5 million and for applicants age 61-70 for policy amounts above $2 million. This applies to the Horizon Experience (Banner), along with William Penn business.

Why is it important? We have updated these underwriting rules to simplify and expedite underwriting for many applicants.
