While this years AEP may look a little different with the new CMS guidelines and plan changes, one thing that hasn’t changed is the trust and guidance that your clients look to you for. As you navigate your clients through their plan choice for 2023, below are some Compliance reminders:

Starting October 1^st:

• You are permitted to begin talking to your clients about the new 2023 Medicare Advantage & Prescription Drug plans. However, no applications can be accepted until October 15^th.
• All calls with Medicare beneficiaries must be recorded and kept on file for 10 years.
• The new TPMO disclaimer must be displayed prominently on all marketing pieces, websites and stated verbally within the first minute of all sales calls. The disclaimer is: “I/We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-Medicare to get information on all of your options”
