Health Care Service Corporation to Acquire Trustmark Health Benefits

Big news for Trustmark! Trustmark reached an agreement to sell one of four business units, Trustmark Health Benefits, which provides third-party administration services to midsize and larger self-funded employers, to Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), the largest customer-owned health insurance company in the United States.

Trustmark will focus on helping employers offer benefits that are essential to build engaged, healthy teams through our voluntary, fitness management and small-group health plan administration businesses, which will remain with Trustmark.

Trustmark Small Business Benefits® will continue to deliver customizable, cost-effective level-funded solutions and exceptional service to smaller employers.
