Requirements ordering clarification
Before August 1, the traditional paper Life Insurance Application (LIA), form ICC08 and state variations, will be accepted, but will be processed through Horizon, our digital platform. Labs and exams should be ordered by GAs (unless accompanied by LabLift). LGA will order the APS and any other requirements.
Agents should begin transitioning to our new LIA (ICC17) now. It is more streamlined and improves customer experience (less repeat questions asked during the customer journey). Additionally, with the new LIA , LGA orders all requirements (labs, exams, APS, etc).
On August 1, the ICC08 and state variations will be formally sunset and no longer accepted. ICC08 applications received after this date will be rejected.
