More ways for members to connect with their health
Capital Blue Cross Connect health and wellness centers focus on empowering members to live healthy. Members can find:
Information for saving money on healthcare services and prescriptions.
Biometric screenings to identify areas for improvement.
Confidential health coach consultations, in-person and virtual, with information about healthy eating and nutrition.
In-person service to help answer health insurance questions.
Virtual and in-person fitness classes for all ages and ability levels (check with each location for details and available classes).
Wellness events like weight-loss workshops and health seminars.
And now members have more ways to visit with five location options, with Capital Blue Cross Connect locations in Allentown, Chambersburg, Enola, Saucon Valley, and our newest in York. Members can either call to make an appointment, book online, or walk in. We're here to connect with members however they need us.
As employees begin to plan for retirement, they may have questions about their coverage options. We know Medicare can be confusing; fortunately, we're here to help.
Depending on the needs of your clients' workforce, we offer free educational sessions for members. We can hold group seminars and consultations on-site, virtually, and even one-on-one.
At these sessions, we review different parts of Medicare, discuss important enrollment periods, and explain the differences between Original Medicare, Medicare Supplement plans, and Medicare Advantage.
Capital Blue Cross is committed to providing our members with more coverage and value for the life ahead. That’s why we make it easy for our members to stay with us after they retire. We offer a full suite of Medicare products, including Group Medicare plans, as well as plans for individuals.
A digital-only package for $10 a month that includes workouts with BurnAlong and Les Mills.
Healthy living discounts and deals on vitamins, equipment, and more.
And when members sign up for a gym package in June, they get one month free! All they have to do is use the promo code FYW19Jat at checkout. Feel free to share the promotional flyer with your employees.

Spotlight on National Men's Health Month
Did you know that women are more likely to visit the doctor for annual exams and preventive services than men?*
June is National Men’s Health Month, and we’d like you to join us in raising awareness about healthcare for men with a focus on encouraging men to take control of their health.
The Capital Blue Cross Health Promotion and Wellness team has a set of men’s health screen savers available for use at your workplace. These screen savers can be used to provide valuable information to your employees, like the benefits of regular doctor visits, as well as tips to prevent chronic conditions.
The Health Promotion and Wellness team also offers a live, 60-minute men’s health presentation virtually or onsite. This presentation explores the most common health conditions that effect men and highlights lifestyle changes that can be made to live a longer and healthier life.
If you are interested in using these screen savers for Men’s Health Month or would like to schedule the men’s health presentation, please reach out to your dedicated Senior Health Education Consultant today, or email CBCHealthInformation@capbluecross.com for more information.
Because June is Men's Health Month, it's a perfect time for men to take stock of their health and wellness. On average, women now outlive men by more than five years. Wider adoption of routine preventive care, telehealth services for mental wellness counseling, and colorectal and prostate screening all can play a role in closing the gap.
See what else men can do to help close the longevity gap.

*Based on internal reports as of June 2, 2022 **Dental Select plans require the selection of a primary care dentist (PCD) from the BlueCross Dental Select network. The PCD provides routine care and arranges or provides most other medically necessary services. Except for emergency services, benefits are covered only when provided or properly referred by the PCD, preauthorized by Capital BlueCross, or as stated within the dental policy.
On July 1, 2022, Capital Blue Cross will publish machine-readable files on our website in compliance with the Transparency in Coverage Final Rule. Once posted, the publicly accessible files will include medical in-network rates and out-of-network allowed amounts for Capital Blue Cross and national networks.
It is important to note that the link will not be active until the files are populated some time on July 1. If you click on the link before the data is released, you may see a message that looks like an error. Employers can post the URL on their public site for users to access. The data files will be updated on the first of every month.
Machine-readable files are a digital representation of data or information that can be imported or read into a computer system for further processing. The data is not meaningful at first glance without that process.
Capital Blue Cross will not charge for use of the machine-readable files posted on our site. Those who wish to interpret the data will need to process and evaluate it on their own or use a third party vendor.
