Transparency in Coverage Final Rule machine-readable files available soon
On July 1, 2022, Capital Blue Cross will publish machine-readable files on our website in compliance with the Transparency in Coverage Final Rule. Once posted, you’ll be able to access them through this link. The publicly accessible files will include medical in-network rates and out-of-network allowed amounts for Capital Blue Cross and national networks.
It is important to note that the machine-readable files will not appear until the files are populated some time on July 1. If you click on the link before the data is released, you will be routed to MyCare Finder, our provider finder tool. Employers may post the URL on their sites for users to access. The data files will be updated on the first of every month.
Machine-readable files are a digital representation of data or information that can be imported or read into a computer system for further processing. The data is not meaningful at first glance without that process.
Capital Blue Cross will not charge for use of the machine-readable files posted on our site. Those who wish to interpret the data will need to process and evaluate it on their own or use a third party vendor.

June is National Men's Health Month
Did you know that women are 100% more likely than men to visit the doctor for annual exams and preventative services than men?* During National Men’s Health Month, we’re working to change that.
The Capital Blue Cross Health Promotion and Wellness team has a set of men’s health screen savers for use at worksites that provide valuable information, like the benefits of regular doctor visits, as well as tips to prevent chronic conditions.
Our consultants also can join your team virtually or in person to discuss the most common health conditions that affect men and how men can commit to lifestyle changes that support longer, healthier lives.
If your clients are interested in using the screen savers or want to schedule the presentation, they can call their dedicated Senior Health Education Consultant, or email CBCHealthInformation@capbluecross.com for more information.

Amenities provided by this state-of-the-art venue include health plan services, health coaching, wellness programs, and meeting spaces to share with our community partners.
Join us for a BCBS webinar about behavioral health equity in the workforce
Join a panel of experts on Tuesday, June 21 at 1:00 PM ET, to discuss how the behavioral health equity crisis is affecting employees and employers, and discover strategies to advance change, in the webinar Addressing Behavioral Health Needs of The Workforce, Equitably, presented by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.
The panel will:
Establish the scale of America’s behavioral health crisis and its disproportionate impact on communities of color.
Discuss how behavioral health challenges directly affect employers and the workforce, specifically regarding the well-being of their employees and costs to their organizations.
Provide strategies employers, providers, and health plan partners can implement to address equity in the behavioral health space, affirming that collaboration among these stakeholders is needed.
