FOR YOUR AWARENESS: We will be running our Periodic Data Matching (PDM) process this week
This week, Pennie will be running the mid-year periodic data matching (PDM) process to ensure customers receiving Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTC) and/or Cost Sharing Reductions (CSR) have not lost their eligibility due to being:
Enrolled in non-ESI Minimal Essential Coverage (MEC) (e.g. Medicaid, CHIP, Medicare); or
Deceased
Households with customers who are identified as being enrolled in other coverage or being deceased will receive a notice titled “WARNING: People in your household are at risk of losing their health coverage through Pennie” that will explain the issue and next steps to resolve the issue.
Customers will have 30 days to provide documentation verifying their eligibility or else their coverage through Pennie will be terminated.
After coverage is terminated, customers can only re-enroll prior to open enrollment if they qualify for a special enrollment period (SEP). Failure to provide documentation by the end of the 30-day period is NOT an SEP. Please help ensure your customers don’t lose their coverage by failing to respond to this notice!
