The Pennie team has asked URL Insurance Group to provide feedback from our agent partners on two SEP policy proposals that would be used to help provide a more seamless transition for individuals losing Medicaid coverage due to the end of the public health emergency (PHE). If eligible for coverage through Pennie, these individuals would be enrolling with a Loss of MEC SEP therefore our policy proposals are targeted to individuals enrolling due to loss of MEC SEP, regardless of whether that MEC was Medicaid or other coverage.
Please see the links below for a description of the two SEP policy proposals, along with some examples of how these policies would apply to different scenarios, and provide your feedback as soon as possible no later than Friday, May 6th.
