UPMC Health Plan, Express Scripts Inc., and SaveOnSP are pleased to provide the SaveOnSP specialty cost-share assistance service for Health Plan members. The service - which will begin on July 1, 2022, will target specific high-cost specialty medications and leverage funds from manufacturer patient assistance programs to lower cost sharing for members who enroll.
 
SaveOnSP will help eligible members enroll in the service and work with UPMC Health Plan’s preferred specialty pharmacies (Chartwell and Accredo) to apply manufacturer assistance to eligible pharmacy claims. 
 
Please note that eligible members will soon be notified of their ability to participate in the service. Members can then check the SaveOnSP drug list at saveonsp.com/upmc to see if their medication will be included in the program.*

*The medications included in the service are subject to change and are subject to UPMC Health Plan’s clinical prior authorization policies.  HSA plans and 2-50 medically underwritten plans are excluded from this program.
