Government website still offers additional at-home COVID-19 tests for free
Although cases and hospitalization rates have subsided, testing is still a highly effective way for people to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. In January, the federal government launched a websiteoffering a free package of four at-home COVID-19 tests to U.S. households. Starting this month, households can now get four more free tests (eight tests total). Households who already ordered four tests are only eligible for four additional.
This is an easy route for members to secure OTC COVID-19 tests at no cost to themselves or their employer.
Remember, no insurance information is required when ordering, and shipping is free.
Free biometric screenings available at Capital Blue Cross Connect locations
Anybody can stop in to one of three Capital Blue Cross Connect locations on March 31 to get a free biometric screening. And while there, they can also enjoy a free heart healthy soup and salad!
Those who want to take advantage of this offer must go online to book a time slot at their location of choice:
Groups with a delinquent status often send payments by overnight delivery; however, we encourage using online payment services, where payments are received and posted quickly.
Groups who do send payments by overnight or other expedited delivery must mail them to Capital Blue Cross' Elmerton Avenue address in Harrisburg using UPS or FedEx. They should not be mailed to the Pittsburgh address.
UPS, FedEx, or other courier payments should be sent to: Capital Blue Cross, 2500 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17177.
Group and individual payments should be sent to: Payment Processing, PO Box 371482, Pittsburgh, PA 15250-7482.
2021 Healthy Blue Reward dollars expire in March
Group and Individual account Healthy Blue Rewards members who earned reward card dollars under the 2021 program have until March 31 to use any remaining balances on their reward card. After March 31, unused dollars will expire and be considered forfeited, nor can they be reissued.
Participants can call 833.786.3520 to check their reward card balance or to ask questions about their card. This number is available for reward card assistance through March 31. After March 31, the number will no longer be operable.
