UPMC Health Plan to change small group
(1–50) ACA offerings in Central & Eastern Pa.
On Dec. 1, 2021, UPMC Health Plan will retire its small group ACA coverage in these counties: Adams, Berks, Bradford, Carbon, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, Union, Wyoming, and York.
Affected groups in these counties that renew their coverage before December 2021 will maintain their coverage through their 2022 renewal date. For example, groups that renew in November 2021 will be covered through Oct. 31, 2022.
UPMC Health Plan offers a broad range of products and services to communities in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania. The small employer group products that we are retiring are used by less than 1 percent of the members we serve in Central and Eastern Pennsylvania.
