Updated COVID-19 life insurance underwriting guidelines
Effective immediately, Protective Life has revised our temporary life insurance underwriting guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The updates apply to fully underwritten applications and all new or pending cases with no final underwriting offer or outstanding underwriting requirements.
You heard that right, we’ve lowered prices across the board on Protective Classic Choice term to give your clients the short-term coverage they need at the price they want. Our lower prices now put Protective in the top three 95% of the time and in the top five 97% of the time for monthly pay scenarios. Plus, we’re one of only three carriers in the market to offer level term coverage for up to 40 years.
Two-step verification now required on MyProtective.com accounts
To keep our online environment protected, we have added another layer of security to MyProtective.com. Users are now required to go through our simple two-step verification process to access their MyProtective.com accounts and will receive a code via the primary email address associated with their MyProtective.com accounts to verify their identity.

Reminder: In-force correspondence for agents shifts online
As a reminder, Protective in-force policy correspondence currently being mailed, including client activity reports, is now available online at MyProtective.com. This change does not impact correspondence mailed directly to customers.
