The rates are effective for any new business with a signature date of March 1, 2021 or later requesting an effective date of March1, 2021 or later.
Please refer to the points below to determine which rates should be applied for new applications:
- All Medicare Supplement applications signed before March 1, 2021 will receive the current 11-1-19 rates.
- Any Medicare Supplement application signed on or after March 1, 2021, requesting an effective date of March 1, 2021, or later, will receive the new 3-1-21 rates.
- Any Medicare Supplement application re-dated on or after March 1, 2021 will receive the new 3-1-21 rates.
