Capital BlueCross and Rite Aid have launched a temporary clinic to help get COVID-19 vaccines to our members and communities. The clinic will be located at the Capital BlueCross Connect health and wellness center in Enola, and other sites will be available across Pennsylvania as designated by Rite Aid. Through the program, eligible individuals can call Rite Aid at 866.674.4659to schedule an appointment. The vaccinations will occur between Feb. 25 – 28.
We have emailed and texted Capital BlueCross Medicare, group, and individual members who reside in Pennsylvania with information about how they can schedule an appointment. While vaccine supplies are extremely limited at this time, our intent is to expand the program to provide space to enable providers to administer the vaccine to more members and others in our communities. Please note:
Members should use the Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Your Turn tool to see if they are currently eligible under the state’s vaccine rollout plan.
When calling to schedule an appointment, members will be screened to determine if they are eligible.
Appointments can only be made by phone. Walk-ins will not be accepted. The Capital BlueCross Connect location in Enola will otherwise be closed to the general public from Feb. 25 – 28.
As of now, on-site vaccine clinics for employers are not available. However, Capital BlueCross and Rite Aid are considering the possibility of planning these types of events. We’ll share more information about our plans as it becomes available.
Thank you for being a Capital BlueCross customer. Capital BlueCross values your business and we will continue working as hard as we can to support, serve, and protect your employees.
