Updated CARL hours for AEP
The Cigna Agent Resource Line (CARL) is available year-around to serve you, but we extend our hours during AEP to better serve you.

Beginning October 15, CARL service representatives will be available Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. CT and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. CT. Call 866-442-7516 or email [email protected].
Save time with our plan switch hotline
If an existing customer in your current book of business chooses to make a plan change, he or she can call our Cigna Agent Resource Line (CARL) plan switch hotline and your Agent of Record (AOR) status is protected. Using the plan switch hotline for your existing customers allows you to focus on generating new business during AEP.
 
You still have the option to fill out a new application to submit for current customers, but this queue exists to allow us to help you move your customers while you focus on generating new business during the AEP. The queue will be staffed with licensed service representatives, not licensed Sales Agents. As long as your customer calls the Cigna plan switch hotline at 855-649-5101, you AOR status will not change when one of our representatives executes a plan change on behalf of one of your customers.

Enroll your customer over the phone compliantly
Don’t forget our Broker Enrollment Assistance Line! Since meeting in person with your customers presents a challenge in this age of social distancing, we created this solution that allows you to compliantly enroll your customers into Cigna Medicare plans.
 

By using this service, one of our enrollment specialists will complete the enrollment on your behalf. It’s important to note that you are the agent of record for this customer. Please remember that with this designation, the responsibility of explaining benefits as well as confirming provider network and covered prescriptions falls to you. The Cigna enrollment specialists are instructed to facilitate the enrollment process only.     
 
Beginning October 15, the Enrollment Assistance hours are Monday – Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST. For enrollments in Arizona, call 866-619-8825. In any other Cigna Medicare Advantage state, the number is 866-619-9293.
