HIGHMARK's OFFERING BLUE EDGE DENTAL PREMIUM CREDITS

Highmark has taken strong measures to support both our small and large groups during this difficult time. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many members have had to delay things like routine dental care. It’s why Highmark has made the decision to give our customers money back!

This means your eligible fully insured Blue Edge Dental customers can expect to see a dental premium credit equivalent to 50% of an average monthly dental premium reflected on their September invoices which will be issued in August.* For mid and large group market customers, our Client Managers will inform their assigned customers of this premium credit during the week of July 27th.

As our valued producer partner, we understand the impacts these customer premium credits may have to producer commissions, so we’ve also made the decision that there will be no impact to producer compensation for the month the credit is given. This should be reflected on your September commission statement.

Throughout the pandemic, we've remained focused on supporting our customers and delivering a safe and remarkable dental health experience. This premium credit is simply another way we can assist our customers during this difficult time.
