Entering important contact information into EZ-app

On the Application tab of the Life Producer Compensation page in EZ-app, It is important that the broker’s and client’s email addresses are entered into EZ-app so the DocuSign eDelivery emails are sent to the correct contacts for review, release and/or e-signature of the policy and delivery requirements.

Note: Please be sure to enter your email address; not your assistant’s email.

Enter the insured’s email address on the Proposed Insured tab in EZ-app:

Also on the Application tab, it is important that the MassMutual firm contact (new business coordinator or Brokerage director) is listed as Contact 1.

Paper application submissions to your MassMutual agency for data entry

For those brokers submitting paper applications to your Brokerage director for data entry into EZ-app, we have updated the producer statements (A1AGE 0116, A1AGE 0217) to enter this information as well. Be sure to complete the information below so it can be entered into the system:

Ease and efficiency

After consenting to eDelivery and entering their access code (see example below) to authenticate, brokers will release an email to clients with their policies for review and e-signature, or use eDelivery with clients during telephone or in-person reviews, even when additional forms must be signed in a face-to-face appointment. Clients will open their email and link, consent to eDelivery, enter their access code (see example below), and e-sign delivery requirements. Refer to the workflow chart for more information.

We recommend that you review the eDelivery Training Modules and/or MassMutual Policy eDelivery demo recording to learn more about using eDelivery in your business.

Electronically signed delivery requirements are automatically and immediately received at the home office for completion. All eDelivery process recipients subsequently receive completed, downloadable, and printable policy packages for recordkeeping.

Notes:

  • Life insurance policies also require advisor/broker to e-signature. An email will prompt them to e-sign once the client completes their signing ceremony.
  • Brokers and clients are required to enter an access code prior to accessing the policy package. To authenticate, the user enters the two digits of their month of birth, followed by the two digits of their day of birth, followed by the last 4 digits of their SSN.

Example: DOB: March 20 and SSN: xxx-xx-3456 is entered as 03203456.
