Maintenance Choice® Program information
With the Maintenance Choice program, we offer more convenience and access to prescription delivery at a discounted rate. Members have several options to fill a 90-day supply of maintenance drugs. CVS Pharmacy® will also waive charges for home delivery of prescription medications.
CVS retail offers home delivery options to members within 10-50 miles, in addition to CVS mail order. Please note, members will receive transition communications on prescriptions that are defined as maintenance medications to alert them of the need to move to CVS retail or mail order. Refer to the attached flyer for more details.
Springboard Marketplace provides new virtual enrollment trainings
Springboard Marketplace offers more than just online enrollment and benefit administration for you and your clients. It also offers an employee-facing enrollment platform, with capabilities like side-by-side plan comparisons and direct provider look-up.
New virtual trainings and dedicated one-on-one sessions have been created to accommodate an increasing telework community. Be sure to review the attached flyer and share this information with your clients.
PCORI fee extended until 2029
On December 20, 2019, President Trump signed the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act. The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) fee is now extended to 2029. The PCORI fee was initially applied from 2012 to 2019. At this time, the IRS has not released additional details. When they do, we will be sure to share that information with you. Updated AFA underwriting guidelines
Please be sure to check out the updated small group underwriting guidelines, which are posted on Producer World, for businesses that are 2 enrolled to 100 eligible employees.
New business submission deadline extensions
Refer to the chart below for upcoming 2020 effective date submission deadlines:
- Request for underwritten quotes can be submitted until the 20th of the month.
- IMQ Elite requests can be submitted until the 20th of the month.
- Extended new business submission deadlines through June 2020:
